We are Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County(HFHJC) .   We used to be Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Big Horns along with Sheridan, but as of November 1, 2013, we became our own affiliate.  Our service area is Johnson County.  We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) and as such we support them and follow their guidelines.  We are a Christian Organization but do not prosletize or discriminate on basis of faith, race, religion, or sex. We build homes in Johnson County and have competed 9 homes so far..  We take applications for the homes we build and the recipients are selected by a Family Selection Committee.  They must meet certain financial guidelines, put sweat equity into the house, and receive an interest free mortgage.
